Session 17 - Cat's Park Crisis
General Summary
The horrible White Space event has caused tremendous changes which seem to be widespread across the world. An adorable emissary arrives in Urveth after hearing stories of the Badger Castle with a single, plaintive plea, "Please help save Cat's Park!"
Today, the group took a bit of a small large impressive detour from the expected activity. It all began with a discrepancy that Lady Caramel had noticed regarding someone attempting to extort money from the Capulus Barony, an issue that Caramel brought directly to Biri herself.
Chaos Out Shopping
While this was occurring, however, the members of the Chaos Marked were looking to finish gearing up. This didn't go exactly according to plan, though some of the goals were successful. Deekin, however, ended up causing quite a scare in the marketplace. Still, the group was better prepared and geared and after a good night's rest, Lanasia was ready to share the fruits of her research.
The next day, Lanasia shared information about the Stygian Darkness of Lanasia and the dangerous void-based weaponry they created there, information gleaned about the River Styx that flows through the Underheavens that may be of use later, and ways to harvest rare materials from the Elemental Chaos itself. Speaking of which, chaos decided to impose itself upon the group.
Tonberry Barony Already
Her piece said, Cadok asked for help from the group regarding the fact that the land gifted had started changing. The group traveled with him to the Tonberry Barony -- or Tonbarony -- and investigated. Bit by bit they began to understand that the concept of ownership seems to work differently in the Feywild, and that the area was quite permeable to teleportation, allowing that magic to move between the Material Plane and Feywild. In addition, the group discovered that having ownership of the area gave new abilities to Cadok. It was with these abilities that shenanigans occurred.
The first was the accidental conjuring of Fluffy the Terrible, a Vorpal Rabbit and friend of Lanasia whom she once went on a mission with. The second was finding out that there were still eldarin on the Feywild side of the now-city-sized village. A boop of the nose from Cadok caused significant damage and made Cadok hyper-aware of a new strength. After shifting over to try and help put the poor victim's face back together, the assembled angry eladrin decided that Cadok meant business and elected to flee town and this dangerous mortal.
The second was a careless whisper that resulted in Cadok's half-siblings -- Tarkan and Ravia, children of his own father and a different mother -- suddenly appeared near his room. They appeared with a great deal of injuries, and looking as if they had been imprisoned harshly. A moment later, their shared father appeared intent on taking them back and revenging himself upon the Chaos Marked. A fierce battle ensued in which the group naturally prevailed, with Deekin himself dealing the killing blow.
This done, the group headed back to the hospital to treat Tarkan and Ravia and engaged in a bit of downtime activity!

And all this time, back at the manor, Caramel and Biri were about to welcome a gaggle of kitten visitors bearing news of import...
