Sarius

We rise above the petty squabbles of good or evil; there is only power and purpose.

Sarius is the demigoddess and progenitor of crystal and psionic dragons. As one of the four daughters of Draco, she sees to those dragons who have chosen the path of neutrality, chromatic or not. She is a hub of their culture and their majestic sovereign. She is commonly depicted as a great dragon with scales of crystal that shimmer through various types of crystal and planar dragons. The only consistent feature is their pure crystal head which contains prismatic, shimmering scales.

Dogma

Sarius is a secular demigoddess who concerns herself mainly with the welfare of her children and the sanctity of the environments they inhabit. Sarius' only secondary concern is the state of the inner planes, a concern that she depends on her children to assist her in observing.

Sarius generally does what she can to keep her children out of the squabbles that commonly break out between her two sisters. To their good sense, both Bahamut and Tiamat avoid involving Sarius if they can help it both to avoid her ire and to respect her neutrality. As such, when Sarius deigns to appear to entreat her sisters, they tend to listen as Sarius does not involve them lightly.

Followers

The followers of Sarius are extremely distant to the world at large, concerning themselves only with the welfare of crystal and planar dragons. Many live most of their lives in the wilds of the material and inner planes. As Sarius accepts only dragonkin clergy, it is common for every crystal and planar dragon female set aside their first egg for the goddess.

Given the mutable nature of much of her childrens' habitats, Sarius has no temples. Most crystal and planar dragons have a small shrine in their lairs instead.
