Housing the capital of Gnaritia, Abovets is the place of myth and legend, both ancient and new ones in the making.

Meadows of Patience

Home to many magical academies, Abovets is the perfect place for new mages to go and train out in the field, quite literally. The many open areas of the Sal'or plain make for an excellet training ground for wizards to test their skills, without having to worry about the magic destroying the buildings in the city. Perhaps because of this, countless plants with magical properties grow all over the region of Abovets, as the mana from the spells seeps into the ground wizards train on.

Government

In Abovets resides the Council of Archmages, the leadership of Gnaritia and its eight regions. Currently, they are doing their best to keep peace with the neighboring countries, but having eight individuals try to come to an agreement proves to be tough at times. The main reason that this system has lasted this long is that each region feels that their voice is heard through their elected archmage. The Abovets region is no exception - the current Chrysolite Conjurer has held office for two hundred and fourty years, and yet does their best to make sure their voice doesn't hold more weight than the rest, upholding the values of Gnaritia.
