R'ellanthas The Dragon Stone Chronicles

For near 7000 years the Elves ruled the lands of R'ellanthas. They lorded above all others in mighty cities with towers that touched the sky. Taking control of R’Ellanthas from the then ruling Dragons.    But all was not well, for the dragons of R'ellanthas grew ever restless and they wished an end to their elven overlords. War soon broke out, as the dragons broke their bonds and rose up to put an end to all elven kind.   The war washed the land with blood and ruin. After decades of fighting, with the dead uncountable on each side, one last great battle took place. The land shook and the earth was scorched black. As the ash heavy sky cleared it became evident that neither Elf nor Dragon lived.   The war was over. Out of the ruins of the world those that had once been ruled worked quickly to fill the power void left behind. Kings were crowned, Empires were formed and the world has settled into a new rhythm.   800 years on, not an elf or a dragon seen since that final battle, several factions find themselves fighting for control over land, artifacts and technology.   It is in this rebuilding ruins of a world that we now find ourselves.
