Melodic Buds

Melodic Buds are the way in which power has returned to the world, after ages bereft. Though these new powers are vastly different to any magic ever known to the world. These plants, when consumed in the correct manner, can grant the user unimaginable powers. No two buds have ever produced an identical power.

Manifestation

While always distrinctly some sort of plant, the Melodic Buds are all unalike, with or without any sort of specific colour or pattern. Some are bright, covered in elaborate markings. Others are dark and plain. The Melodic Buds have two traits that are concistent across all identified specimens. First, they will give off a soft glow. Second, as one approaches the plant, a gentle humming noise can be heard eminating from it. Though quiet, this melodic humming seems to reverberate, closing in on your from all sides.

Localization

The Melodic Buds can grow in any location it seems. From deep dungeons to mountain tops to the sea floor. It is yet to be determined how or why Melodic Buds grow the way they do.
