Session 7- The Realm of the Dead
General Summary
The party investigate their surroundings further revealing a mostly decrepit facsimile of the tomb they explored previously.
They discover several nests of odd large Bugs , Big Al investigates and inadvertantly disturbs the nest and gets streamed at by a swarm.
They do not seem to like the taste of Al but mass in the Area around him. He attempts to clear them with the killet skillet but ends up spraying the party with them.
Nysander blasts the swarm destroying many of the bugs but they explode into acid spray and poisonous gas.
After some struggle the party despatch the bugs and head north exploring finding little of interest other than some statues and more nests.
they are besiged by a sickly sweet stench coming from the South East and head towards it.
The party encounter the ghouls from when they arrived and a large bloated Ghoul Lord called Grolog who is relatively convivial. He is more interested in the guests and the prospect of food as his banquet spread is somewhat rotten.
The party converse and gift him a Horn of plenty ale Dragon gift.
In exchange he warns them off a Blood Elemental and directs them to Sangora in the corpse Market who may assist them in returning home.
The party exit the tomb encountering some Shadow Ghasts but a trinket gift from Grolog prevents them being attacked.
on the surface they encounter more surreal eerie dark parodies of Silverymoon and the Etherest District.
Forging forward they enter the Factory area and trade with a large monstrosity ogre zombie called Viktor who they trade with.
Finally the party head to the corpse market and once more encounter Sangora more powerful here , after some dud negotiations she invites them into her mansion to learn more.
