Session 15- Hook Horrors and Worms

General Summary

The party battled with the Knoll Hunting Party who had reinforcements . As the party regrouped to take on the new Gnolls , several hook horrors dropped from above and tunneled through the walls.

Their main target seemed to be the Gnolls.

Nysander used a psychic attack on one and got a vision of the Hook Horrors protecting their young.

The Hook Horrors targeted the Gnolls first but hooked Glob and took him up into the trees doing some serious damage incapacitating him.

Once the Gnolls were slain the party tried to negotiate Glob back

Lews caused a fight to erupt again and more Horrors approached.

Things looked dicey but eventually the party via Nysander managed negotiate safe passage which they closely escorted the party out.

The party took a short rest then headed to the Worm Farms they entered some strange melted tunnels and reached an outcrop overlooking a large cavern with 7 Goblins in chains and 11 Drow.

The party sneak attacked the Drow and mopped them them up in quick order pretty much before they got a shot off.

As the party rescued Globs Goblin freinds the ground shook and tremoured.

The party rushed to heave the Prisoner goblins up to the platuea and a large Purple Worm erupted at the far end of the cavern.

Big Al took rear guard and a hasty retreat when a huge Worm erupted in the centre of the cavern then another smaller one.

The party legged it , purple worms on their heels.

Eventually they escaped the Worm Tunnels and back into the underdark proper.
