Mantras of the All-Seeing Eye

These mantras were found while inside the pages of Voi Toi 4-2.16: Events and Accomplishments of Bay Dihn Soi Under the Rulership of Ivellios the Cultivator and in the Temple of the All-Seeing Eye.   Mantra of Preservation   The original purpose of this prayer was to allow a cleric to preserve part of an individual within themselves. A donor and host would perform the ritual in tandem, causing one of the organs of the donor to replace the same organ within the host. Once the organ is replaced it cannot be swapped again to someone else. If one only reads this mantra, it would not be clear why anyone would choose to do this.   Of the two, this is the one most heavily edited by Valin. Upon further readings, it is clear the donor soon fell victim to the spell, causing them to transfigurate into a construct of some kind. In return, Valin was given the life force of the victim and extending her own lifespan.   Mantra of Reclamation   This mantra takes the better part of a night to complete. It describes a host being a vessel to which they channel their divine blessing to replenish and resurrect a donor. Part of the host is infused with a holy candle and then blessed with the waters pulled from a cenote. Thereafter, the host would mediate from dusk till dawn to channel bringing the doner back from the dead. The donor’s body does need to be present in some way, but there seems to be references to limb and even organ regrowth occurring.   There are only minor edits to this one, as Valin seemed to have no interest in ever giving back what she took from her victims.
These two prayers are not normally part of the core teachings of Giac Moran and appear to be reserved for champions of the faith. The mantras had a more noble purpose, but there are several alterations Valin has made to serve her own self-interest. They are fully illustrated for glyph placement and body positioning and give many notes on how to ensure the rituals are performed properly. While Valin is the current cleric who has cast these mantras, she is not the original author. It is hard to get a sense of the original author’s heritage, age, or how long-ago the ink was placed on the page.
