Kelemvor

Kelemvor is the old world god of the afterlife. While his domain is that of death, the god is not looked upon as malicious or evil. Rather, its followers have weaved themselves into the fabric of society to help those in their most turbulent times. Clerics of his church often have the duties of tending to the last burial rites, and provide their condolences. Not all necromancy spells are not frowned upon in their church and if there are ever any group who knows the perils of folding together the material plane and the afterlife, it would be the inner circle of priests known as mortarchs.

Tenets of Faith

A temple of Kelemvor can always be found on the western border of a settlement. The importance of being the last building the sun touches before dusk is deep rooted in the dogma of church.
