Call of the Void

Description

During the Great Demon Unity, an adolescent Void Guardian was slain as it attempted to destroy a large city and its parts were used to create many powerful weapons and armor that was later used during the great war. Only one of those creations is known to exist as the others have mysteriously disappeared from the owners. The sword known as Call of the Void has been shown to have the ability to be sent into the void then summoned back with the use of a spell known only by a cult of serpent worshippers known as the Cult of the Serpent. When used in battle, it can absorb and store the souls of demons within it, which can be used against the wielders enemies, making it a useful weapon for spellswords and the like. It also seems to have a telepathic aspect to it as it has been known to send images of great serpents into the minds of the wielders enemies, who will often flee from it.

1d8 +2 (Slashing)

Can only be used by one who has seen the Void.

Call to Arms: Any Demon (challenge level 10 and below) slain with Call of the Void will have its soul stored into the blade and can be called upon for one battle (after two turns, the soul will be removed).

Soul Cairn: Depending on player level, the soul can store multiple souls within it (LVL 1-5: 1, LVL 5-10: 2, LVL 10-15: 3, LVL 15+: 4). Souls can only be used one at a time.

Void Visage: When used, it summons the visage of a Void Guardian into the minds of enemies. Enemies must make a constitution roll above the PC's AC for it to not be skipped in turns. Can only be used once per day.
