The Unseen Hand
The Unseen Hand is a clergy church worshipping Mich-loix. It's quite old, and the slightly above average sized faction has an excellent reputation, and is motivated by politics. They are adjusting to a change in leadership on their board. This Church was founded before House Desmarais originally established a formal government in Desmarais.
Structure
It's ruled by a board of 9, who were able to rise to power by communing with Mich-loix. They are quite incompetent, and their positions on the board are very stable due to the lack of infighting for the leadership roles. Their meetings are held every ten days, and are open to all. Bribes to the board are sometimes accepted.
Culture
Members of The Unseen Hand are identifiable by the ring that members are given. Membership requires a generous tithe, and costs absolutely anything; they could demand two thousand gold, or an egg from a rooster. The initiation into The Unseen Hand involves a blessing from the head priest, Emilanus Ashdown.
