The Desmarais Rogues
The Desmarais Rogues is a thieves guild. It's quite old, and the slightly above average sized faction has an above average reputation, and is motivated by power. They are rumored to help lucky commoner. Their headquarters is located deep within the spiraling shantytown of Runtown. They are currently run by Ekk Darknath.
Structure
It's ruled by Ekk Darknath, who was able to rise to power through strong-arming her way to the top. She is very competent, and her position in the guild is relatively unstable due to internal power struggles. Their meetings are held as needed and are only open to memebers. Bribes to the committee will usually be rejected.
Culture
Members of The Desmarais Rogues are identifiable by a missing earlobe. Membership requires a display of loyalty, and costs a hundred gold pieces. The initiation into The Desmarais Rogues involves a secret ritual.
Public Agenda
The Desmarais Rogues have very little in the way of allies other, however they are often seen as heroes of the common man and poor. The Rogues will often provide for those in Runtown with their spoils.
