The Deep Well

This gulf in the Sea of the South is known as such because of its unusual depths. Just off the coast, there is a steep dropoff where the sea descends to depths unknown. Ships lost in the Deep Well are never found and legends of gargantuan creatures far below abound amongst sailors.
