Biggites
Biggites are understood in scholarly circles to have been proto-Biggists. They existed primarily as lone individuals who rose to prominence as a direct result of their unusual desire to coexist with Dragyns dragyns. They did not refer to themselves as Biggites, and it is not known from where this name originated. There was no collective association and most stayed to their own paths, only being recognized in their similarities after the fact.
Some Biggites would use their unnatural connection to dragyns to further their goals, including weaponing these creatures to attack people and towns. These individuals grew to be feared and hated by those who avoided dragyns and considered them a dangerous nuisance. One Biggite who rose to prominence, Arthyr the Dragynryder, even challenged the authority of Dr. Y'zarr Tepek when the Omidragyn was created and demanded that the God Machines all be destroyed. Arthyr was killed in an assault on the city state of Alterr with an army of Dragyns that could not breach its outer walls.
Other Biggites wrote their beliefs and findings which were discovered later or passed down to their children, which likely formed the roots of what grew to become Biggism later in history. These Biggites frequently revered the dragyns as holy creatures, either incarnations or symbols of a greater divine entity. These beliefs were rudimentary and disorganized, but proved to be gripping to later Biggists.
