'89 SEPT - hair
to start high school - Heat is allowed to bleach out and dye his hair blue. the school is not pleased but there are no rules against hit and he parents are delighted to fight the school on it.
when his mom is dying his hair, they do a little strip of blue in killer's hair since it's already to pale and would not need to be bleached for the colour to show up. it's on the underside and would only be noticeable when he pulled his hair up.
killer's father freaked when he saw it and chopped most of killer's hair off. killer tries to hide it under a hat but his teachers make him take it off in class, leading his home room to see the awful hair cut before his teacher takes pity on him and lets him put it on, writing a note for the rest of his teachers.
unfortunately, the boys in his homeroom have already seen it and spend the rest of the day harassing him about it and trying to steal his hat. it leads to a fight during lunch; punches are thrown, killers hat is pulled off in front of the whole grade, and killer ko's one of the boys before the fight is broken up.
