415-B. E. Parrington, Gunsmith

433½ W Main Street

On the upper floor of the building is Edward Parrington’s workshop and gun store. Saleable firearms, kept in glass-fronted, locked cabinets, line the walls of the customer area. Behind the store is the workshop where Parrington repairs, services, and even builds firearms to order. Other services include custom made bullets (silver, perhaps?) and weapon appraisals. He stocks a variety of handguns, shotguns, and rifles, though exotic weapons (such as elephant guns) are a rare find in his store— unusual weapon requests are referred to Abercrombie & Fitch in Boston. Open 10.30 am to 5:30 pm, closed for one hour for lunch, Tuesday to Saturday.

Rumor:

I wouldn’t put it past Eddie Parrington to be the one supplying the gangsters with their guns. I never liked his face.
