System Lord Imperial Armada

Overview

The System Lord Imperial Armada (SLIA) is the interstellar navy of the Galactic Empire of the System Lords. The Empire is unique in the Alpha Quadrant powers in that they utilize highly advanced AI and Droid warriors and ships. In terms of naval ideologies, the Empire typically favors the swarm approach to overwhelm enemy starships with droid fighters that are fast and easy to build without risking loss of life. To carry these fighters, the Empire deploys large domineering captial ship carriers that spread fear across their domain.

Vehicles

In terms of superiority fighters, the Empire typically rely on Droid fighters for interstellar combat and use manned fighters and patrol craft as planetary defenses. There are also two classifications of troop transport ships.
The only ships in size and power betwen fighters and capital ships are the Imperial transport ships. Even these freighters are able to strike fear in the worlds near System Lord space as they can be used to carry troops and supplies for ground invasion forces.
In terms of capital ships, the Empire has one class of frigate and 1 class of destroyer for long range exploration and scouting. The main stays of the Imperial Armada are the BattleCruisers and Carriers that form large invasion fleets or defense forces.
Imperial starships typically are prefixed with Imperial Star Ship (I.S.S.).

"Darkness Falls" - term by non-imperials for when these vessels arrive at a planet as it means an invasion is underway.
