For Oswald, one must ask a question... What is stronger, his back or his loyalty to Melina Aressia? If you were to ask Oswald, he would answer swiftly with Melina! Oswald the Overburdened is as loyal a companion that any could have. Serving as Melina Aressia's personal pack mule, Oswald is content with his lifes service. Melina has not asked him to do so, he has just taken it upon himself to do so. He thinks the world of Melina, and praises her skills whenever necessary and helps her with all her daily tasks. Their bond as friends has even helped them create their own form of speaking known as "Keerg"...a language that Oswald claims to have made up with Melina during their travels, to help while communicating amongst those less trusted. Oswald claims to have meant Melina while working the fields of the small orphan town Nanty Glo. Oswald can often be seen carrying a mules weight in supplies for him and Melina's travels, but what is not seen is his ability to recollect even the smallest of details. He also has a very fine hand for writing and reading, along with speaking fluently among many lands and languages. For Oswald, reading and writing is a hobby that he finds peace within. There are two loves in Oswald's life, scriptures and Melina Aressia. Where Melina has the incredible ability to be ferocious in combat, Oswald is a precise historian. Keeping a journal to track of all his travels and encounters, along with the recent and past memories he adores with Melina. Oswald hopes that some day he will get a chance to live peacefully in the large city of the Bonfire Citadel that way he can publish his travels, and spend his waning days in the vast library the city holds...
