Metal Phoenixes

The common uniform trade currency of the Magistrate Empire. Their product beginning in response to economic issues of the past, as a well to balance trade. They are often divided up into two smaller subcategories which while they are not officially recognized they are very common nicknames.   The first is Phoenicians, used for the most precious of metals, it takes the name from the common nickname for gold coins, gold Phoenicians.   The second is plated feathers, a name for coins of lesser and far more common metal coins.

Manufacturing process

The metal is heated in crucibles and then poured into plaster molds to form planchets and blanks. Once cooled the coins are imprinted images with the coin dies with the help of heavy presses. They are then sent off for record and distribution.

Significance

It is used as a tool to unite the empire, for nothing brings together people better than mutual benefit. It is also a symbol of the empire's economic control as so long as it controls the production of the coinage it can control the economy and trade, it also brings a common sense of oneness to the people. A unified trade currency between all nations allowed commerce to flourish and prosper.
