Onijuki is a nation of 100 million located in northeastern Asia that consists of a series of small islands. It has the most technological innovations when compared to the world's other nations.
Structure
The Emperor is the highest seat, followed by the Parliament and the High Court. Under them, the individual islands mostly govern themselves.
The Emperor is directly elected by Parliament, double-checks the bills that they are trying to pass, and has the power to veto the decisions of the Parliament and the High Court.
The Parliament is elected by the people through the popular vote, with one Parley from each major island. They have the power to elect the Emperor from the candidates, vote on bills to pass as laws, and have the power to veto the decisions of the Emperor and the High Court.
The High Court is at the top of the justice system, with one Courtier from each major island, appointed by the Emperor. They have the power to sentence criminals, interpret the Slythiran constitution in how it pertains to Slythiran law.
History
Onijuki was initially a feudal nation by the name of Japan, with each feudal lord utilizing ninja and samurai against their enemies. At a forgotten point in time, spacecrafts fell from the sky. The Oni that came from these crafts usurped the feudal lords, united Onijuki, and reshaped its governmental structure, transforming it into the technological and entertainment giant it is today before the last of them passed on.

The population is of the real-world Japanese ethnicity and is distributed across the islands as they are in the real world.
