Akira Sugimori
(a.k.a. Red)
Akira, or Red, as everybody calls her, is another childhood friend of Akari and her group. The they grew up together, until the group moved away after Red was involved in a traffic accident that cost her 3 of her limbs and her left eye. While she was in the hospital, she was selected to test out a set of integrated, high-tech cybernetic prostheses over a long term. Her new limbs allowed her to be stronger and faster than ever, and her new eye had perfect vision, and could be linked to perform a number of other software functions.
In the time since then, Red has become quite an influential figure in the underworld. She owns an infamous nightclub called 'Crimson Impact', a neutral territory where mercenaries, gangsters, and white-collar criminals alike come together to relax and do business. She's also become a proficient fixer, acting as a highly skilled middleman in a multitude of shady dealings. It's no wonder that she and Akari would eventually cross paths again...

- Her left arm features artificial musculature, along with reinforced joints built with shock absorbing materials. These upgrades allow her to use her arm to lift heavier objects, punch through solid objects, and absorb recoil from high powered firearms.
- Her legs are built in a similar fashion, allowing her to sprint at high speeds for long periods without fatigue, as well as jump higher and withstand hard landings.
