Biography

Appearance

Karra wears the skull of an Azharan Hippogryph, adorned with several other trophies. This is the trophy she obtained for her Om'riggor hunt. She (almost) always carries her large, steel-reinforced oaken warhammer, a weapon she shaped out of the tree trunk that gave her her last name.

Personality

Karra has a tendency to be rash and reckless. She aspires to become a well-renowned Orcish Warrior, and to die a warrior's death when that time comes, though she firmly believes that time is still far ahead.

History

Karra was born about 14 years after the Dark Portal was opened, in one of the Orcish Internment Camps in Lordaeron. She never knew her parents, and only know that they were both of the Blackrock clan. What little she remembers from her childhood there was spent scrapping around with other Orc children and getting in trouble, both before and after being freed from the camp.
She was among the many that traveled from Lordaeron to Kalimdor when word arrived that the Warchief and the Horde that had traveled west had found and were building a home for all Orcs. While there had been adults looking out for her before, once she arrived in the growing city of Orgrimmar, she decided to fend for herself. She would take small jobs around the city in return for food, and when there was none, she would steal, or get in fights with other children to take theirs. That was, until Karra met Rogarth. One day she was caught off-guard and ganged up on by several of the larger, more bullyish children she had taken from before. As tough as she was, she was not able to hold them all off for long, and was beaten almost senseless by the time anyone intervened. After hearing a loud roar, scaring most of the bullies, and hearing the few unfazed ones being pulled and pushed, scuffling away from her, she opened her eyes to see an older, worn Orc standing over her, his arm streched out to help her up.
Karra was weary of the much older Orc at first, but when she caught an interest in his work as a blacksmith, she grew to enjoy his company, and often stayed at his forge, watching him work, rather than scurrying around in the streets, stealing, and getting in scraps with other Orc children. The two eventually grew very close, and Rogarth, in all ways but officially, adopted the young girl. Karra became his apprentice, learning to craft both weapons, armor and other gear fit for the Grunts, Travelers and Warriors that required it.

Trivia

• Of all the PrjWar characters, by original creation date, Karra was the fifth to be created, in 2018.
• Karra was made as a replacement for Rogarth going into Battle for Azeroth.
• She was originally meant to be a male character, but as a last minute descision on the day of her RP debut, I changed my mind and wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone, really only having played male characters up to that point, and not just making a younger version of Rogarth.
