Bralorack
The ground began to tremble, when all of a sudden, a crash came from behind him. Glancing back Laverin beheld a sight he could never have imagined. The beast was like a worm, except the size of a small freighter. It had two eyes and a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth, it was covered in long spikes pointing down its body. He always figured the tales of braloracks consuming planets were exaggerated, but he now realized the error in that assumption.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Very little is known about the creatures as there has never been a successful attempt to capture a bralorack, and their body's completely decompose within 10 minutes of death. They have no limbs, and or covered in long pointed triangle for scales, that while not connected at the tips, form a near impenetrable armor. While none are confirmed, there are man plausible explanations on how braloracks move underground, however it is unknown how it can move through space, or how it can survive in the cold vacuum.
Genetics and Reproduction
Every several decades, a pack of braloracks come together to nest inside a planet's crust and make a massive cavern in which to raise many eggs. Normally a bralorack will find a planet to feed on and eat away at its crust for several months, causing massive tremors and usually destabilizing the atmosphere thus making it unsuitable for life, but when a pack of braloracks nest the result is far more severe. They only nest on lush planets covered with life, most of which are home to major cities, and when they do they do not just eat away at the crust. The braloracks consume the entire planet, leaving nothing left.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Braloracks consume planets, it is unknown why this is or what they need from them, only that it is devastating to any planet that sustains life.
