Orcus Patera Colony
The Orcus Patera colony was founded in 2076 with the first modules being dropped into the depression. It was fit for human population by 2079 and its citizens began arriving later the same year.
Government
TAW is responsible for the smooth running of the OP colony. Elected officials from the residents of the colony manage it locally, while attempting to meet directives and laws set by TAW.
Industry & Trade
Iron, heavy metals, methane, and solar power are the principal exports of the OPC. As one of the first and most populated TAW colonies on Mars, it is a hub for administration, interplanetary flight, and local trade. Initial imports included water, food, oxygen, plant materials, and building materials.
Infrastructure
The original sealed modular buildings were replaced in 2090 by a sealed roof near the surface level of the depression. This allowed for faster growth as well as pseudo-outdoor areas such as parks and streets.
Architecture
Beneath the glistening roof, OPC's architecture follows a sleek modern utopian architecture with white metallic walls, clear and clouded glass, and greenery in planters.
