Hamper Hippo

The Hamper Hippo is a creature that consumes your clothes, and occasionally burps up socks. It likes to chomp on clothes, and swells when there is dirty clothes around. And will continue to chomp until it takes over the entire room!

There are various types of Hamper Hippos; Purple, Grey, Pink, Orange, Blue, Green, and not to forget the Great Rainbow Hamper Hippo. Don't worry though, the Great Rainbow one doesn't venture into homes. But he does float waiting for those on adventures.

When out adventuring be on the look out for them. With a high enough Creature and Mental skills you have higher chance of noticing and avoiding him. But should you face off check out the Great Rainbow Hamper Hippo Quest.

You do not want Hamper Hippos around, they might seem cute from a distance but they have a fearsome bite. They deal 1 point of Health Damage with a single Bite, but only on the first day. Each day you spend fighting the same Hamper Hippo damage goes up.

So day one only deals 1 potential point of health damage, but day two has 2 potential points of health damage.

The good news is they only attempt to bite once a day. They spend most of their time trying to chomp on Clothes. But the longer they stay the worse they get.

 

When Battling a Hamper Hippo, You must check to see if you take damage.

To check either:

Playing Card

Pull a Card from a regular deck of card. Success on any cards of any color 5 to K. Failure is A-4 of any Color. If you pull a Red Joker you take double damage. If you pull a Black Joker you get success and one less task needed to get rid of the Hamper Hippo.

D20

Roll a D20, Success on 11-19. Failure on 2-10, Double damage on rolling a Natural 1. Roll a Natural 20 and you get a success with added bonus of one less task to get rid of that pesky Hamper Hippo.
