In the world of Prism, there is a large variety of races living together. There are no specific kingdoms where a single group lives, however, some races do naturally tend to live in environments that suit their physiology and culture. The following is a list of all races that can be found in Prism, organized by location, then population size.
City/Kingdom Specific
- Gnomes can be seen in any large city in the land, and only the cities. They love tinkering and building and the resources available there are unbeatable.
- Aasimar are mostly found in capital cities. While they can travel anywhere they like, the direct access to a holy site calls them in too strongly to ignore for long.
- Tieflings are a people with fire in their blood. They prefer to live in Firefall as they have access to the lava fields that are no where else.
- Kenku can be found in any city except small cities. The smallest cities do not provide enough cover for their needs, and they stand out too much.
- Vedalken refuse to live anywhere except the largest of cities. Occasionally you will find one doing an experiment somewhere else, but they all live in the cities.
- Khenra tend to live in the capital cities, as that is where the arenas are. They love to do combat, and make their way towards Fortitude no matter where they started.
- Plasmoid live in the cities. Most commonly in the sewers underneath them. Though they can look like any lump, so watch out.
Mountains
- Dwarves are a stony people, enjoying the stone itself as well as whatever is inside it. They live in the mountains, though it is common to see them in any city.

- Aarakocra roost in the mountains all year long. They can be found anywhere there is a high altitude. They are an isolated people, avoiding all other mountain dwellers.
- Goliaths are born in the mountains, and tend to live in their own isolated communities wherever there are mountains. While they are not enemies, Kor and Goliaths tend to be in conflict whenever they meet.
Forest/Jungle
- Lizardfolk are the lords of the swamp. They find no danger in the murky waters or toxic landscapes. While they think low of everyone but lizardfolk, Naga are close enough that they see them as kin.
- Naga are wild folk, and the majority live in Emraldis. They live more commonly in the jungle but are one of the few people who willingly live in the swamps.
- Hadozee live among the trees. They can be found in large numbers in either the forests or jungles. Either one is fine for them.

- Tritons live in very small communities. Some do live in cities with access to the ocean, but generally, these people stick to themselves.
- Locathah are used to a harsh life, deep in the water. They enjoy staying far away from others, who have not always treated them nicely.
Grasslands
- Centaurs roam across the lands, wandering far and wide. They tend to prefer the grasslands as they have the most room to run, but they do enjoy the forests.
- Minotaurs have no home of their own. They live solitary lives, often claiming territory and defending it from others. They can be found anywhere.

- Half-Orcs are welcome in any location. They tend to live wherever their parents lived.
- Vampires can be found literally anywhere in the world, as they can be from any race before they were turned. That being said, the constant sun in the desert often keeps them away.
- Changelings can be found anywhere, but prefer living among people, where they can blend in. They are hard to find though, as they can change into literally anyone.
- Orcs are less fond of cities than most races. They enjoy having their own space and being able to do as they want.
- Goblins, Bugbears, and Hobgoblins all have no specific place they enjoy more than any other. They want to live and let live and that can be done in any location. They all live together as they are very similar people.
