The moon Tenni that circles the night sky is named after the Lunar Goddess of Magic, Love, and Light. Each of the phases of the moon is associated with a school of magic. Also, the lunar calendar week is named after this god known as the "Tenn-day" as the moon Tenni has a 30-day lunar cycle with each moon phase passing over a 4-day cycle. This 30-day cycle is where the 360-day 12-month calander is derived from.

It is widely believed that the goddess of magic created one of the two moons during or shortly after the events of the Sundering. Her followers believe that she and her faithful reside at the core of her creation the moon Tenni. Legend tells that Tenni is a hollow world with a massive labyrinth of dungeons and passages separating the outer cities from Tenni's arcane workshop at the moon's core. The surface of the moon is a barren wasteland and unsurvivable without magical aid. Recently a Magical eruption blew the dome off an immense lunar volcano exposing a city in its cauldron.
