Jungles
The moist air, layers of vegetation, and and dense forest floor with many rivers to create lanes of moving water lead to the naming of this biome, The Jungles biome is what separates the drier forests from Primordia's ocean, as most areas in the Jungle one can smell the sea salt they get closer to the ocean.
The Jungles of Primordia possess many layers of trees and plant life, with the emergent layer being patrolled by medium sized flying animals ranging from Mesozoic to Pleistocene.
The Canopy layer is home to any animal that can climb a large tree. Giant sloths, apes, and sauropods that can reach their heads up to this point call it home.
The Understory layer typically has the same, albeit more home to young pterosaurs who hatched not long ago, as the undestory's lack of vegetation is easy to fly around in, this includes tree-hunting predators, such as microraptor, and larger arthropods.
Finally, at the jungle floor, is where large herbivores enjoy their bounty of mushrooms, moss, orchids, flowers, nuts, and many other forms of flora, ground-grown, or fallen from above.
The forest floor is patrolled by carnivores and herbivores alike, and the river coastline is haunted by ancient marine predators, which often lead out to sea, or can be followed to a waterfall, and lake.
Geography
Mountains and rivers overgrown with vegetation of various types.
Ecosystem
The Jungles of Primordia are the best place to witness the animals of this world. Overflowing with flora and fauna, there is vegetation on every source of dirt and rock, and within the petals and leaves is a likely animal, ranging from nearly every era Earth has had. A point of interest specifically being the rivers, where predators will often make their strike from within the waters.
Ecosystem Cycles
There is a wet season where constant rain will leave a bead of moisture on every surface in the forst, and a dry season where the air is thick with pollen.
Localized Phenomena
Intense storms may happen in the jungles of Primordia, from hurricanes, to floods, and even widespread fires, can occur when trees are struck by lightning.
Climate
Humid, common rainfall.
