Shrouded Forest

The Shrouded Forest is a vast jungle covered in a blanket of thick mist. The fog is thickest on the forest floor, but it reaches all the way up to the emergent layer, letting only the tallest trees receive the reward of sunlight.

Geography

The Shrouded Forest fills a low area of land that sits between the Tisvern Peaks, the Untamed Ocean, the Burning Forests, and the Wildfox Flats. Famous places in the Silent Woods are Snipevine's Thorns, the Evertree, and the Alrailie Wells.

Fauna & Flora

All the plants in the Shrouded Forest have adapted to their strange habitat, and so almost all of them are some type of carnivorous. Plants of note are Snipevines, Tigerjaw, and Strangle Willows, all of which I have devoted tons of research on. If you end up lost in the jungle with no food, always watch for the Veirausha, a type of purple climbing moss with white berries. The berries are good for getting rid of hunger and are packed full of nutrients. But they are really small, and easy to miss.
