Alrailie Wells

Though this area is part of the Untamed Ocean, it is counted among the Shrouded Forest's landmarks because of the way the jungle plants have a tendency to grow in the water as well as outside it.

Geography

No one but the Mercats knows how it works, but apparently there is a collection of warm geysers sprinkled around on the floor of the Untamed Ocean, between the Thetlet Keys and the Misting Coast. They appear to be laid out in a pattern, but, though I have mapped it (kind of), it only holds meaning to the Mercats in that area. One of the more famous geysers is Spitfire, which sits in between two atolls, named Inlustris Skerry and Tenebrae Key. Most of the geysers gush warm salt water that is full of nutrients and is taken advantage of by many sentient creatures. Some care for extensive aquatic farms, while others have built cities centered around two or more springs.

Fauna & Flora

The Mercats in this particular area are technically known as Ocean Mercats, but this anhaita is the Ahrailia. The unusual amount of nutrients in the water plus the warmth attracts a wide variety of Fauna, both sentient and not. Rare species of Iristri flowers are farmed and exported in the larger cities and other water plants are found in abundance.
