The Second Tsondalian Invasion
INTRODUCTION
The Second Tsondalian Invasion took place between Firstelli 1761 and Markus 1765. The war was fought between Tsonlar and three of the Seven kingdoms: Vocra, Wreinn, and Asmar. The result of the war led to a dismantling of alliances between the seven kingdoms and would result in hundreds of years of bloodshed, including the infamous The Seventy Years War.
THE INVASION
In 1761, the Tsondalian Emperor, Ostphar VI, an arvenon, chose to exert his military might upon the weakest of the seven kingdoms: the neighboring Asmar. Asmar was an Easternling nation, and so the invasion was viewed in a negative light by most of middleton. Mucht to Ostphar's disliking, Wreinn and Vocra joined in military support of Asmar, with Orsolon, Porsonal, Jolster, and Olchar rallying with financial support. However, the drowic forces fighting for Ostaphar were no match for the combined assets of the seven kingdoms, and Asmar fell quickly. Ostaphar quickly turned his forces northward and invaded Wreinn in 1762. This sudden turn on those who supported Asmar discouraged any others from helping Wreinn with military. After Wreinn fell in 1764, Ostaphar again redoubled his effort and invaded Vocra. Vocra quickly surrendered and the nation was englufed into the massive Tsonadalian Empire.
