The Death Eagles
INTRODUCTION
The Death Eagles were a modern heavy cavalry shock unit produced during the late 49th century in Traelec. The unit was most notably deployed during the southern battles of The Traelecii Civil War. Comprised of 750 of the best and most disciplined cavalry in all of Trouffen, the Death Eagles used guerilla style warfare mixed with horrific charges to create havoc within infantry-heavy armies. They wore massive metal eagle wings fashioned with real gold tipped feathers to inspire terror and fear within their opponents. The unit was created and led by Commander Edwin Towerson, and famously charged into the Battle of Eight Flags in Grinalia plain toward the end of the Riship Campaign. No other shock unit matched the fearsome reputation of the Death Eagles.
