The Sixth Keeper Rayven Ungloth Irigil (a.k.a. Raven the Undying)

Backstory

   

Rayven Ungloth III, of the family Irigil, was the granddaughter of a high Archian Prince, the third cousin twice removed of Krein Elymas, King of Archian in the late fourth period. Her upbringing involved rigorous education on all sciences, including the three types of magic. Rayven's initial interest in the darkest of the three arts concerned her family enough to stop her education of science completely. After a few years of losing interest in everything, Rayven ran away from her home in Eastern Archia to the hills of the west. There she increased her study of science and magic, eventually learning all forms of magic, and even a little alomancy and alchemy.

   

The Rise of a Horrific Legend

   

After forty years away from Eastern Archia, Rayven returned, now fully powerful in all types of magic and arts. The visible change in appearance and power in Rayven scared her family, who ran the small town of Barrowhorn in the forests of central Archia. She was swiftly banned from the city and exiled to the hills of Duswik, where she multiplied her power further. Stories and myths of a powerful witch in the west began to arise and reach the ears of the House of Irigil, and they became increasingly aware of their descendant's sudden impact on the area, and attempted to reach out and stop her maniacal rants on the streets of Duswik. On the Sixth of Jylon, 4455 4P; Rayvin slaughtered the entirety of the nobility of Barrowhorn- her entire family- eradicating the rest of the house of Irigil. She quickly disappeared and has not been seen since, although rumors that she joined the demonic saints in the Cult of Lucifus were proven true throughout the course of the next few centuries.

   

Historical Influence and Impact

   

Rayven Ungloth is an urban legend and horror to many in the surrounding regions of Southern Archian and North Western Tsonlar. Many believe her powers derive from the demigod Kor'non, or even that she is a sixth keeper and minion. While many believe these theories, very few know the actual truth behind Rayven. The panic behind her very name has led many cities and towns to shut their gates for months, fearing an attack from this singular witch. Much of the law and military actions of the Far South of Min'usu'une is affected by the presence of her undying legend.

Demonic Saint of the Cult of Lucifus

RAYVEN AFTER HER DISAPPEARANCE

Rayven Ungloth III, distant cousin of the royal line of Archia, joined the Cult of Lucifus in the late 4th Period, shortly after the murder of her entire family, about forty-three relatives, in Barrowhorn. Many say they witnessed her strike them all down with her powers after returning from exile, but no one can say for certain whether she was the one at fault or not. After being exiled a third time, by her own will, she was discovered to have joined the league of Lucifus, an exiled warlock, one of the corrupted merciful. Although this organization is not exactly 'evil', one of their divine tenants is to hunt and kill all the remaining angels of Loscin, a lofty goal which many frown upon. However, Rayven did not make this a priority, instead hunting down and killing anyone who she deemed to have too much 'earthly power'. Her signa is left in places of the murder of high rank officials, so many believe she is behind at least fourteen assassinations. Her presence has not been witnessed in almost four centuries, so although many believer her to be dead as of 4781 4P, the persistence of her power and threat leave her as a legend of Archia and a deathly fear to all of those in power surrounding South Min'usu'une.
