Geode Mountain
A mountain of average size somewhere in the Anvil mountain range. It happens to be located on a Ley Line nexus, which has greatly enhanced it's connection to earth magic. It is incredibly tough on the outside, and has never been mined into, but the inside is hollow and lined with crystals containing a wide range of magical properties. The magic radiates out and creates bizarre variations on wildlife in the area, as well as more severe meteorological activity. Inside, the crystals cause unpredictable magical effects on a near constant basis.
The God Tombs
A collection of locations across the world that, according to legend, are the final resting places of the mortals that eventually became gods. True or not, The God Tombs hold divine power and frequently also contain sacred artifacts from the god's lives. These locations are lost to time, and many are buried, magically hidden, greatly transformed by the ravages of time or are otherwise nearly impossible to find. Each is guarded by beings associated with that god. Though there are many theories, no one is completely sure where these tombs come from.
The Spirit Grove of Prakaeth
Prakaeth is the great spirit of the planet itself. It has never fully revealed itself to mortals, but the oldest and most powerful of the great spirits have been known to reveal its existence to those they trust. While Prakaeth technically exists in all places on Prakaethion, there is an unknown location where its presence is the strongest. Here the plants, animals and spirits grow larger, stronger and wilder, and it is theorized that an individual of singular talent could make a deep connection and learn untold secrets and insights into the true nature of reality and the world. Some theorize that this could be on one of the polar ice caps, deep in the jungles on Jushane, or even below the surface of the ocean.
Planar Confluxes
Locations where the near planes (Feywild, Shadowfell, and Elemental planes) directly overlap with the material plane. These locations are warped; the characteristics of the intervening plane mix with those of the material plane. Attempting to leave a conflux is risky, as you can't be sure which plane you will exit onto without a deep understanding of how planes interact. Denizens of the near planes can use these confluxes (intentionally or unintentionally) to cross over to the material plane (or visa versa) without the use of powerful magic.
A conflux can last as little as a day or as long as hundreds of years. The longer the conflux exists, the more it warps the material plane, the farther its influence reaches, and the longer its effects last after it ends. Strong rituals are believed to be able to open these intersections, and there do exist rituals to contain and control them. The prevailing theory for the variety of sentient species on Prakaethion is that long lived confluxes strongly influenced populations of early peoples and permanently affected their evolution in various ways.
The Glass Lake
Glass lake is a mythical location, rumored to exist in the great desert in Acuphera,.. Legend says that any sand that passes into the Glass Lake melts and becomes one with the glass. The glass itself is simultaneously both solid and liquid, flowing and making waves in slow motion. The allure of the Lake is that there is supposed to be some sort of temple, shrine or fortress within it that contains something of great power, though what power exactly is within has been the subject of fruitless debate.
Labyrinthian Mire
The Labyrinthian Mire is a large wetlands near the Green Sea in Aegrora that is perpetually covered in fog. Little is actually known about what lies within, but it is a topic of such renown due to it's completely unnavigable nature. When one enters the Mire, they become lost within minutes. Most (but not all) do return safely from the Mire, though where they exit has no correlation with how long they travelled within, or what direction they intended to go. All reports seeing and hearing strange things, though almost none report being attacked or threatened. All of this has led to countless theories about what is contained within the mire, be it a treasure protected by ancient magic, an ancient being who simply wishes to be left alone, or something else entirely.
Compounding the legends and theories is that there are similar phenomenon around the world, including a section of forest in Notea, a cave system in Coshath, an island chain in Ugrekech and on both polar ice caps.
Jotunmount
This huge mountain on Notea is unique in that it is the largest home to giants on the Material Plane, and the longest lasing. Giants do occasionally live on the material plane in small numbers, but normally only make large settlements in the Feywild (with a few sub-species as an exception.) This huge mountain houses hundreds of True Giants, and even makes occasionally contact with the peoples of Notea, though only the greatest warriors of the smaller ancestries are allowed to visit the Mountain itself.
Starfall Sea
Between Jushane, Acuphera and Nipoena, a roughly circular sea lies that also happens to be unusually deep. There is a legend that this was once dry land, but a star fell and destroyed the land all around. This has not been confirmed, though there are a great number of aquatic beasts and monsters that make their homes only in this sea. Some sailors have noted unusual events happening in this sea, and some captains will refuse to cross it on a new moon when the sky is dark.
