8 kingdoms revolving around the 8 types of magic, and formed during the Eight Great Foundings. Though being the origin point for all the major civilizations, many of what happened before is lost to time. What is said of champions fighting the gods, is nothing but speculation. The gods have not been contacted on a wide scale in a many a year, the peoples of the world begin to starve and cannot prosper, in which comes the current times. War ravages the country sides of all nations. If not internal conflicts there are foreign invaders, willing to take what they can from the weak and sick. Though the world appears to be in complete disarray, there are still beacons of hope, cities and towns that flourish in trade, commerce, and technology. But those are for another time, for now, we focus on strange group of adeventurers, all with unique goals and ambitions, but one way or another, they have found themselves in each others company, and the events that follow are those that will forever change the future and history of Praepassia.
