Her powers primarily involve the slits on her throat. They give her a sense of smell so advanced that she can smell things up to a mile away and 40 feet underground. She also has sharp and long canines and fingernails that can harden and elongate.

Personal history

As a child, Amber was born with problems. Her eyes barely worked, and she needed simple hearing aids to hear. However, when a thief broke into her house, she got a bunch of smoke and other chemicals in her face, which destroyed her face. Her nose, eyes, and ears were damaged to the point that almost nothing could save them-except for her powers. Slits grew on her throat, which is used for breathing and to help to keep her ears from being totaled. She still needs hearing aids, just more advanced hearing aids, but she can 'see' with the help of her throat slits, which are so advanced at smelling that she can see without using eyes.
