Stirene

Basic Information

Anatomy

The Stirene is a strong and angile creature with hooves at the ends of its four spindly legs. Each leg has four claws they grow out near the creatures wrist bones. These aid the animals in hunting and defense.

Genetics and Reproduction

As mammals Stirene reproduce sexually and carry their young for 11 months before they are born.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Stirene are a predatory carnivore. They often rely on speed and camouflage to catch their prey. They're two most common methods of hunting include standing in wait for prey to be fooled by their foliage mimicking manes and tails or to chase down slower animals. It is thought that the stirene's ancestors used to skittish herbivores in BTE era.
