Catalyst Oil

This special elemental compound draws on nearby energy sources. Catalyst oils are tailored to one specific non-physical damage type.


When an AOE spell or effect would do that type of damage within 60ft of an object coated in this oil, the oil catalyzes and becomes the spell's new point of origin. If the spell's area is directional, it instead affects a 15ft radius sphere around the oil.
