Term: Wigwam
Wigwams are thought to be semi-permanent structures of residential settlement, and these housing structures are favored by ancient Native Americans. The benefits of a wigwam, aside from their small size, is ease of maintenance and resources for shelter. Wigwams are built out of processed timber, rope, and other nesting materials found in the wild of forests. Wigwam homes provide enough space to raise a family, but only enough space for what is needed in basic living.
