Unova (Geographic)
Unova is one of the most heavily developed regions in the world, with towering cities and huge concrete flats. But that doesn't mean it's all skyscrapers, as Unova is a diverse region of a multitude of biomes.
Geography
Unova's geography is unique, as much of it has been modified by humans. What was an oasis about to be devoured by a desert became the largest city in the world. Unova is home to deserts, badlands, coral reefs, and warm semi-tropical areas, though the large majority of the region is temperate and filled with either forests or plains.
Fauna & Flora
Unova has it's own division of the pokedex, which is one of the largest and most diverse. While many pokemon live in the wilds, many smaller sized wild pokemon have taken to living in cities, surviving off of what humans feed them or leave behind - and a select few smaller predators moved in after seeing all the smaller omnivores running around.
As it is a temperate region, many of the plants reflect that - though there is a variety of imported plants thanks to the extensive human development.
Natural Resources
Unova doesn't have much to offer for natural resources that aren't out of the ordinary, as most of the trade from Unova is man-made. Resources in Unova are very standard, though mining operations exist in both mountains and underground; the the purpose of these operations is to create roads, not mine resources.
