Lostlorn forest
Located just outside the suburbs of Nimbasa city, Lostlorn is known for it's high population of zoroark and zorua. After a wildfire scorched the Unova league, many of the zoroark that lived there were relocated to the forest. Since then, the forest has become almost a no-go zone; as reflected in it's name, those who venture into the forest often get lost and never find their way back out.
Geography
While there's some homes and other buildings on the edge of the forest, the interior is largely untouched. The ground is mostly flat, if not sometimes a bit uneven, and there's some cliffs in the forest. The cliffs home waterfalls, and the forest has a rivers and lakes running through it. The forest also has some small fields and meadows within.
While sunlight is mostly present throughout, some areas are so dense it's mostly dark all the time.
Fauna & Flora
Like most forests, it has a heavy population of wild pokemon, though primarily bug and grass types, and water types living in rivers and lakes. Members of the pidove line commonly use the forest as a rest stop, and while many of them are only visiting, their population is still plentiful within the forest. Because of the forest's largely untouched nature, many of the aforementioned pokemon are able to thrive.
What marks the forest as majorly different from others, however, is the large population of zorua and zoroark within the forest. The zoroark family is the top predator in the area, mostly hunting bird pokemon and deerling, as well as fish pokemon. While Lostlorn is an expansive forest, packs of zoroark often fight with eachother for encroaching on territory, and their illusions mask the true terrain and appearance of their areas of the forest.
Natural Resources
As humans generally don't go inside the forest, many would be resources are left untouched.
