Personal history
Ramone Brewster has a long history with the Hyacinths, even though casual fans of the collective would likely perceive him as a newer member.
He was initially auditioning to be a drummer for the band in its infancy, but was not able to go through with the audition due to a medical emergency arising while the meeting was going on. Jacqueline instead auditioned his younger sister Ana as a rhythm guitarist.
While Ana started with the band, Ramone stayed in recovery for a lengthy period, before resuming with his high school education full time, before going to college in California and graduating with a degree in music production. During college, he would put together a small band including himself, Hyacinths long-time bassist Deryl Park, as well as the lineup's current bassist Muhammad Singh. The band was only just for fun, doing the odd few shows - but the music caught the attention of the Hyacinths then-manager (who forbid Deryl from working with the other two). After the Hyacinths left the Hawthorne label, and while Persenche records was being put together, Ramone was hired on by Virgil as a producer.
When the band ultimately decided they wanted to go with a more flexible structure for the lineup, with members able to come and go as they please, Ramone took on a role as a lead guitarist for the band.
