Sea lizards Hunting Trap

A hunting trap crafted by Arti to catch one of the local Sea lizards. it was succesfully created (even with carvings!) and functional!
Requirements:

live bait: for example crab

Currently being lent out to local fisherman to aid in catching more lizards for testing.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

A trap based on cartoons. The trap is lowered to the bottom of the sea with live bait in it. A rope is attached to it and the other end of the rope is kept on land as this is used to detect when something is caught (as the rope would shift and tighten when the lizard tries to escape) and to pull the trap back up from the water. The live bait is held in a cage-like portion and once a sea lizard enters the trap to eat the bait the cage slams shut.
