Lumicite

Lumicite is a crystal formed from concentrated aether. They are very rare and sought after by wizards. To collect these crystals, wizards seek out cairns of the current where it is more likely for the crystal to grow. Even then the amount of lumicite found is rather small: if the cairn was a goldmine, you would find 5 clumps of gold (lumicite) at most. After harvesting there is also a small chance it can regrow if the aether concentration is dense enough.
