Day 1
Their prophet has asked of me this most sacred duty. I shall
venture southward and withness TheMistress’gifts upon us and
this land. The gifts I’ll spread for her.
For this task I have been given few means and resources, anything
to bold would draw the attention of the flowers. I’ll make do, arrival is
estimated to be in two-three weeks.
Day 16
The land here seems rife with her opposite, the presence of Kishar
fills this town. I assume the Burgeoning Cairn is its source.
I’ll calculate this into any further plans.
An adequate enough shelter has been found, a fall out based around
the old glades. Some acolytes have moved plenty of tools here,
allowing study to move forward at a decent pace.
Day 37
The gifts I have divided over the region so they would not interfere
with one another. Though it required more time to do so, travel isn’t
as expedient here as it would be further north.
Results are expected to show themselves soon, for our Mistress
might be patient, she also consumes swiftly.
Day 51
In my observation I have deduced a few different strands at work, it
seems nearby elements causes Her gift to alter drastically. Yet it
remained subtle enough to not draw the attention of the Doran’s
Descendants.Their prophet will be delighted.
Day 63
The tumult seems to have drawn the attention of a flower. Some of
my men or the villagers are going missing. I had considered laying
our activities low, but with the Gifts growing beyond their expected
bounds such seems unneeded. This flower will not be able to stop its
growth.
Day 70
Unfortunately one of the variations on Their gift seems to have
been destroyed. I should thank those who did, this strain had turned
rather aberrant, deviating from the ideals we set forth. It remains a
blow nonetheless.
I have dispatched acolytes, our numbers ever grow, to the far corners
to further observeand some to obtain some more sample.
The answers to Their question must be here.
Strain Notes:
1. Puppeteer, a wonderous example it doesn’t spread via land or
cavern alone. Instead it has turned the local beasts and
populace into its carriers, which turn out to be rather conducive to
spreading. Despite this its range is limited, presumably due to
how rural the location is.
Perhaps with anudge we can expedite it.
Status: Active
2. Usurper, I do not know why, but this strain has deviated
from any known form. The acolytes suggest it has a separate
will from our Mistress. Preposterous if you ask me.
Status: Active
The observers report back powers like those of great storms
within this strain. Such a drastic change. I would have
enjoyed to see what this would have led to but it seems it was
eliminated. I can’t say if it was by the hands of a flower or
something else
Status: Eliminated
3. Bloat, while the Puppeteer seems to direct the organism it
has affected. This one seems to only fester in it, hideous
pustules and discolouring being its hallmark. A failure, it is
too slow with its effect. We have only seen a few subjects.
Status: Active
Addendum: We have discovered a troll in the area that seems
to be afflicted with this particular strain. However negotiations
with it prove…difficult. This marks the first giant kin to be
infested by any of the strains.
4. Subtle, a true blessing for Their prophet and me. This
variant isn’t as drastic as Puppeteer but accomplishes a
similar goal. Those affected seem to turn to our Mistress’
goals. It is no surprise that the amount of acolytes steadily
increased.
Status: Active
Day 75
Samples have been send to Their prophet while we prepare to deal a
blow to the Heathen Deity, Kishar. Our Mistress has
rallied the like-minded, this site’s defenders won’t suffice to stop us.
Not even the flower can by my accounts.
REDACTED will be pleased.
