Abyssal Chicken

Abyssal chickens are small demons that work in swarms. They lay their eggs inside their victims or simply gobble their victims up.
They are frequently used as familiars by wizards with a fondness for the uncanny and their eggs are pricey valuables.
It is theorized that this is not the final stage of a chickens life. If one ever grows old enough (which is usually not likely) it is believed that they turn into Chicken Trees. These trees are fleshy abyssal flore that serves as nests for the chickens.
If a lot of chickens are present it is save to assume a tree is nearby.

Hunting Notes

They resist ice andlightning but not thunder or slashing.
They are edible.
