Invocation List

Curse of the Mystic Nettle

Prerequisite: Pact of the Evil Eye feature
Once per casting of hex, while the spell’s effect continues, you may impose disadvantage on a single saving throw the target makes as a free action. Transferring the hex to a new target does not constitute a new casting.

Curse of the Marionette

Prerequisite: Pact of the Evil Eye feature, 15th level
Once per casting of hex, you may spend an action to cast dominate beast or dominate person on that target without spending a spell slot. Transferring the hex to a new target does not constitute a new casting

Feral Transformation

Prerequisite: 7th level
As an action, you can transform into a dire wolf, giant spider, or giant vulture following the same rules as the polymorph spell, but you retain your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You also retain all of your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature. If the creature has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, use the creature’s bonus instead of yours. You maintain the ability to speak and can cast spells that have only a verbal component.   You maintain this form for 1 hour or until the form drops to 0 hit points, at which point you revert back to your normal form.   Once you use this invocation, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Dreaming Blade

Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Blade feature
As a bonus action, you can cause your pact weapon to deal psychic damage rather than physical damage until the end of your turn. When you deal psychic damage to a creature with your pact weapon, you learn whether that creature is immune to the charmed and frightened conditions. Your pact weapon can strike any frightened creature within 30 feet of you as if you were adjacent to the creature.

Dreamwalk

Prerequisite: dream spell
When you cast dream and target a friendly creature, the spell’s messenger can teleport to the target’s location if it and the target are both willing. Using this feature adds a material component to the dream spell: a hand mirror worth at least 300 gold pieces, which is consumed in the casting.

Friend against Fear

Prerequisite: find familiar cantrip
When a spell or effect would cause both you and your familiar to become frightened if you fail a saving throw, neither of you are affected if either of you succeeds the saving throw.

Nightmare Mask

A creature that is frightened of you, or a creature that you successfully intimidate with a Charisma (Intimidation) check, does not remember your appearance or identity after the encounter, unless you choose for them to remember you.

Nightmare Ward

You learn a ceremony that requires 10 minutes to perform and affects an area with a radius of 30 feet. Creatures that begin a long rest in that area automatically succeed Wisdom saving throws against the dream spell for the next 8 hours. They are also immune to the psychic damage of a geas spell for that duration. Once you perform this ceremony, you may not do so again until you complete a long rest.

Ominous Dreams

As part of any short or long rest, you can cast augury without expending a spell slot. This does not require verbal, somatic, or material components. If cast as part of a short rest, you must complete a long rest before you may use this invocation again.

Word of Doom

Prerequisite: 9th level, fear spell
When you cast fear, you can use either your action or your bonus action to do so, and you do not require somatic or material components. If all creatures in the spell’s area succeed their saving throws or are immune to the frightened condition, you regain the expended spell slot.

Bloodless Blade

Prerequisite: Heart-Eater patron, Pact of the Blade feature
When you hit with an attack using your pact weapon, you can spend a number of temporary hit points up to your warlock level. The target takes extra force damage equal to the number of temporary hit points you spent.

Devour Emotions

Prerequisite: Heart-Eater patron, Pact of the Tome feature
You can cast calm emotions once without using a warlock spell slot. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.   Additionally, whenever you cast calm emotions, you gain temporary hit points equal to twice the number of creatures that fail their saving throw for the duration of the spell. These temporary hit points stack with your other temporary hit points and are depleted first when you take damage.

Heart Familiar

Prerequisite: Heart-Eater patron, Pact of the Chain feature
The Heart-Eater grants you a familiar sustained by your own heart. This familiar can be any elemental of challenge rating 1 or lower, and can be summoned using the find familiar spell. As long as you and your heart familiar are on the same plane of existence, the familiar takes only half damage from all sources, and the other half is transferred to you.   Additionally, your heart familiar’s attacks count as your own attacks whenever you use a warlock class feature that requires or allows you to make an attack roll.

Rites of Humanity

Prerequisite: 9th level
You can cast a modified version of reincarnate once using a warlock spell slot. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest. The spell still requires material components.   This invocation targets a living beast or monstrosity instead of a dead humanoid, and transforms it into a random humanoid determined by the reincarnate table. While casting this spell on a non-hostile creature, the verbal and somatic components are incorporated into civilized, “human” activities, and you have advantage on Persuasion checks made to calm or entice the target. An unwilling target makes a Wisdom saving throw against your warlock spell save DC to avoid the transformation, and becomes aware that it was the target of a spell. A transformed creature’s new form and capabilities are that of a non-player character of equal or lesser challenge rating. Shapechangers aren’t affected by this invocation.

Rune-Bound Memory

Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome feature

Whenever you can replace a warlock spell for one of higher level, you can instead upgrade one of these spells.

Contract of the Eldritch Charlatan

Prerequisite: 9th level
You can cast a modified version of planar binding once using a warlock spell slot. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest. The spell still requires material components.   Using the spell in this way, it can also target aberrations, dragons, monstrosities, and intelligent undead. While casting this spell on a non-hostile creature, the verbal and somatic components are incorporated into a supernatural pact negotiation., The “pact” you offer the target is snared with loopholes and misinformation, and you have advantage on Charisma (Deception) checks made to entice or preoccupy the target with your “bargain,” disguising your spellcasting. Regardless of the result Charisma (Deception) checks made in this way, the target becomes aware of the spell when it makes its saving throw.

You are blinded and deafened to your own senses during this time. You can end this effect as a bonus action.   In addition, your ravens do not require sleep. While a raven is within 100 feet of you, it can awaken you from sleep as a bonus action.

Blast From the Deep

Prerequisites: The Kraken patron, eldritch blast cantrip You can infuse your blast with the power of the deep to curse your foes. When you use your eldritch blast cantrip, you can deal cold or lightning damage (your choice) instead of the force damage normal for an eldritch blast.
