The Government decides to evacuate politicians, police, celebrities and other affluent people out of Sydney. They decide to do this via ferry thinking the infected, like those with rabies, will be afraid of the water and be easier to hold off. the capacity of the ferries is 8,000 but 17,000 people turn up. many of the ferries leave dangerously over filled. Many of the ferries crash into each other and sink into the harbor, all in all, 6,000 people are evacuated, 5,000 people drown and 1,000 people are infected, and a further 1,500 people are killed in the ensuing chaos.
