Executive Game Summary
Breaking the rules of game design... A TCG mixed with a live-stream game. Who does that!?
Pirates MegaGame TCG is a live, multi-player "Life in the Caribbean, 1726" simulator. It's a Persistent Sandbox World where you can go wherever you want and do whatever you want, whenever we're "LIVE".
Again, the game is a Persistent Sandbox World! The world continues, your character continues, you keep your ship(s), you keep your parcel(s) of land (Buying Land) that you may have acquired along the way. The PiratesMG Whatnot "instance" is persistent. It has no projected end-date... Other instances may appear in other virtual and live venues, but for now, Whatnot is it...
Everything starts with the player buying one of the Booster Card Packs that are available in the live-stream auction. (Currently there are No Booster Boxes available for sale.)
Unless otherwise stated, your purchased pack will be opened on-air. The contents will be show to you, and everyone else in the live stream. You will be given a "slot" in the large game sorting-box for easy retrieval.
Each pack includes 1 week of "TIME". 1 week = 7 days. 1 day = 7 actions.
Using the days and actions, you "play" the game.
You start your journey in the city of 12-Bridgetown. Welcome to the Caribbean!
Whenever you choose, you can take your turn(s) : What Can I do? ... 'Taking a TURN'
Use the proper syntax in the chat window of Whatnot to tell the host what you'd like to do. IE: "[TAXI] 12-Bridgetown to 11-Martinique". - This tells the host to move your character from zone 12 to zone 11. This will also deduct 1 day and 2 silver from your cards.
Before you move.... Maybe you should look at your cards to see if you have any valuable goods that could be sold at one of the The 18 Zones on the Map for a hefty price.
Short on cash? Use one of your days to [WORK] at one of the local businesses and make a fair day's wage in silver.
Work through the variety of articles/files on this site. Print out reference sheets for easy access. Team up with other players to enhance BOTH of your sessions.
