I love getting lost among the stacks here. I'm not sure if I could manage to read everything from their collection in my lifetime. It's fascinating reading through all of these pre-shatter books. They're hard to find now-a-days. — A Cherry Hill student.
This is a university library that is part of the
Cherry Hill campus located in Azarp. It survived
The Great Shattering along with the city and contains the largest collection of pre-shatter literature. The school's founder
Cassandra Moonglow donated her personal collection to the library after she retired.
Design
The library is constructed from the same magic resistant stone as the rest of the university. It sits atop the highest hill on the campus. There are both stairs and a gentle incline available to access it.
Two barn owl statues are located on either side of the library's entrance. Its front doors are large and wooden. They have swirling embellishments engraved across their surface. Magic lanterns float across the area to provide soft lighting.
Layout
There are three main floors and a basement. The archives and staff offices are located in the latter. Each main floor has an assortment of shelves, wooden tables, and comfortable reading nooks.
